What You'll Be Doing: As an Internal Auditor, you will play a vital role in evaluating and improving our internal controls and compliance processes. Your key responsibilities will include: Planning, executing, and reporting on internal audits across various aspects of the business, with a focus on compliance with relevant legislation, industry standards, and internal policies. Contributing to the maintenance and improvement of our management systems. Following up on audit findings and recommendations to ensure timely and effective implementation of corrective and preventive actions. Working collaboratively with operational teams to promote a strong understanding of compliance requirements. Assisting with the preparation for and coordination of external audits. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date audit records. Contributing to the development and delivery of compliance-related training. What We're Looking For: We are seeking an individual with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential risks. Ideally, you will have: Proven experience in conducting internal audits. A strong understanding of compliance frameworks and principles. While not essential, a qualification in Internal Auditing (e.g., CQI / IRCA) or a strong understanding of ISO 9001 principles would be highly advantageous. A background or demonstrable understanding of Health and Safety principles and practices would be beneficial. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across all levels of the organisation. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
