As a Junior Systems Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in supporting the design, implementation, and management of innovative systems and mission for our Space team.
You will report directly to our Senior Systems Engineer and you’ll work out of our Edinburgh location on site

Honeywell Aerospace products and services are used on virtually every commercial, defense, and space aircraft. We build aircraft engines, cockpit and cabin electronics, wireless connectivity systems, mechanical components. Our hardware and software solutions help create more fuel-efficient aircraft, more direct and on-time flights and safer skies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Assist in the design and development of advanced systems, including hardware and software components.
2. Support the execution of engineering projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timelines.
3. Participate in system testing and validation processes to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
KEY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
4. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
5. 1+ years of experience in systems engineering or a related field.
6. Basic understanding of systems integration and troubleshooting.
7. Familiarity with engineering design principles and methodologies, including experience with CAD software or systems modelling
