About the Role
Are you a proactive professional ready to make an impact? We’re looking for someone to drive the growth of our Power & Pump division across Central Scotland. In this role, you’ll build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while identifying and developing exciting new business opportunities. Your mission? To increase sales, rentals, and profits by targeting both existing and new market verticals.
Your Responsibilities
As our Area Sales Manager, you will:
* Coordinate, manage, and deliver the Sales plan for your territory.
* Introduce the Carrier range of products and services to the market, identifying strategic opportunities to grow market share.
* Collaborate with colleagues to provide industry-leading standards to our customer base.
* Build strong, value-adding relationships with existing customers.
* Prospect for new customers and explore new opportunities with current clients.
* Engage in continuous personal development on product and application knowledge.
* Contribute to and utilize Carrier Rental System data systems, especially our CRM system.
* Provide insightful reports on customer inquiries, hires, and sales in your designated area.
* Assist in the collection of payments due for services provided in your area.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should have:
* Outside sales experience within Plant Hire or Construction (experience selling pump solutions is a plus).
* Familiarity with electrical power supply equipment like generators, solar, or battery storage solutions, or plant rental experience.
* Strong MS Office skills.
* Effective communication skills to engage with various stakeholders.
* A self-motivated attitude and a passion to win.
* A valid UK driving license.
