What will you be doing?
Join our high-impact engineering team in Derby as an Electrical Design Engineer, where you'll play a key role in delivering innovative solutions for cutting-edge projects in the Nuclear sector.
Your main responsibilities will be:
* Managing Electrical load schedules and designing modular HV and LV distribution systems.
* Designing earthing and lightning protection systems.
* Developing Electrical Power System Models.
* Completing the design of the Electrical Systems Architecture, sub-system design and equipment specification and design.
Who are we looking for?
* Electrical Engineers to play crucial role in our mission that is familiar across the Electrical System Lifecyle. This is a design role (not suitable for commissioning, maintenance etc background)
* Engineers familiar with the industry standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications
Experience, skills and qualifications required:
* Experience, skills and qualifications required:
* Bachelor's or master’s degree in electronic & electrical engineering or electrical engineering or a related field.
* Proven experience in electrical design within the energy sector.
* Proficient in relevant design and simulation tools (e.g., ETAP, Navisworks).
* Knowledge of grid codes, standards, and regulatory frameworks.
