Our client is a well-established and highly regarded UK label manufacturer, specialising in high-quality, bespoke self-adhesive label solutions. With in-house capabilities spanning digital, flexo, and decorative print finishes, they support brands from concept through to final production across a wide range of industries.
Due to continued growth, they are now looking to recruit a commercially driven, home-based Business Development Manager to focus primarily on winning new business across key markets. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional with experience in packaging or related sectors who is looking to develop within the premium labels space.
Key Responsibilities:
⭐New Business Focus:
Identify, target, and win new business opportunities across sectors including sports nutrition, vitamins & supplements, beauty, personal care, health & wellness, food, beverage, and household products.
⭐Market Development:
Proactively build a strong pipeline by engaging prospective clients and developing relationships within high-growth and design-led brands.
⭐Consultative Selling:
Work closely with customers to understand their packaging requirements, offering tailored label solutions including a range of materials, finishes, and embellishments.
⭐Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Liaise with internal departments including customer service, studio/pre-press, and production teams to ensure a seamless customer journey from concept to delivery.
⭐Opportunity Expansion:
Spot opportunities to introduce added-value solutions such as sustainable materials, multi-layer constructions, and premium decorative finishes.
⭐Pipeline & Territory Management:
Maintain a structured approach to managing prospects, sales activity, and territory growth, ensuring consistent business development performance.
Ideal Background:
1. Proven experience in a business development or sales role within labels, packaging, or a related industry.
2. Strong track record of winning new business and developing client relationships.
3. Experience selling into sectors such as sports nutrition, supplements, beauty, personal care, food & drink, or similar.
4. Commercially astute with a consultative sales approach.
5. Self-motivated and comfortable working in a remote, field-based role.
