Job Opportunity: Band 5 Mental Health Nurse
We are excited to offer a position for a Band 5 Mental Health Nurse within our new NHS Prison Nursing team. This role involves developing a strong nursing service in a dynamic prison environment.
The responsibilities include delivering routine clinics in the Health Centre and Residential Prison Halls, collaborating with the multidisciplinary health team and the Scottish Prison Service.
Applicants should have experience in hospital or primary care settings and possess effective communication skills. The role requires autonomous working and teamwork within a challenging but rewarding environment.
The post involves shift work, with hours from 06:30 to 18:00 and 09:45 to 21:30, Monday to Sunday, with no night shifts. An attractive relocation allowance of up to £8,000 may be available.
