Role Purpose:
As an Investor Relationship Manager at EverQuest, you will play a key role in developing and nurturing relationships with private investors, including financial advisors, angel investors, high net worth investors and family offices. You will help drive EverQuest’s mission to connect high-growth, innovative companies with the capital they need to scale. This role blends strategic relationship management with tactical execution and is ideal for a commercially minded individual who understands the investor landscape and enjoys working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Investor Relationship Management
* Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with high-net-worth individuals, financial advisors and angel investors across the UK.
* Identify, qualify, and cultivate new investor leads aligned with EverQuest’s target sectors and investment theses.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for investors, providing updates, insights, and support throughout the investment lifecycle.
Strategy and Execution
* Collaborate with Partners to develop and implement the investor engagement strategy.
* Support fundraising efforts by matching suitable investors with client opportunities, coordinating introductions and facilitating follow-up.
* Assist in the preparation of investor decks, pitch materials, and thought leadership content.
Marketing and Events
* Organise and attend key investor events, conferences, and roundtables to build EverQuest’s visibility and network.
* Coordinate targeted campaigns to promote investment opportunities via email, webinars, and one-on-one meetings.
Collaboration and Internal Support
* Work closely with the investment analysis, commercial, and technical teams to ensure a seamless investor and client experience.
* Provide regular reporting and insights to the senior leadership team on investor activity, pipeline status, and conversion metrics.
Compliance and Tools
* Ensure investor communications are conducted in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal compliance policies.
* Maintain accurate records using CRM systems and track engagement through reporting dashboards.
Education / Qualifications
Essential:
* Degree in business, finance, science, engineering, or a related field.
Desirable:
* Postgraduate qualification (MBA, MSc, etc.) in a relevant discipline.
Knowledge and Experience
Essential:
* Proven experience in investor relations, capital raising, venture capital, private equity, or financial services.
* Strong understanding of the UK private investment ecosystem, including sector-specific investor groups.
* Demonstrated ability to build and manage long-term stakeholder relationships.
* Experience working with high growth, scale-ups, or innovation-led companies.
Desirable:
* Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and investor platforms (e.g., Crunchbase, PitchBook).
* Background in a high-growth or consultancy environment.
