About the role: To assist in the management of prescription production and changes to prescriptions in line with new starts, restarts, titrations, and medical reviews, and supporting monthly batch prescription generation. To maintain and assist with process of prescription generation across the Northamptonshire Drug and Alcohol Service. Support CGL SUEC phone system and take calls on rotation where necessary. Reception cover when required front of house dealing with service users and visitors face-to-face. To ensure effective processing of correspondence / data entry as required. To minute take at Hub meetings and other meetings when required. Contribute to the management of an effective appointments system and clinic diary management. Supporting the management of the Hub inbox, inputting referrals, generating letters, answering queries and requests from Recovery Co-ordinators in a timely manner. To maintain and assist with the setting up of a general filing system within the projects. Receiving and managing deliveries, post, and parcels. To liaise with and chase GP surgeries for information required for service users to access treatment. To ensure that admin, record-keeping, and communication within the project are maintained. To cover and work from other sites across Northamptonshire if required. To co-ordinate operational requirements of the project base as required, room bookings etc., as required. Essential criteria: Knowledge of general office procedures. Experience of working in a busy office and/or reception environment. Excellent customer service skills. IT literacy including proficiency in word processing, excel spreadsheets and data entry. Good interpersonal skills and a willingness to work flexibly as part of a team. The ability to respond to appropriate requests for assistance, maintaining confidentiality whenever necessary. Solid numeric skills. Good organisational and efficiency skills. Good use of initiative and time management. Confident and effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing. A professional, empathic, and non-judgmental attitude towards service users. The ability to respond flexibly to the demands of the post. The ability to work as a member of a team. The ability to work independently with minimal guidance. Substance misuse knowledge.
