About Run Fit Fordingbridge
Run Fit Fordingbridge is a boutique fitness studio and run coaching business dedicated to creating a supportive and inclusive community predominantly for women of all ages and fitness levels. Our small studio specializes in small group classes (maximum of 7 in a class) ensuring personalized attention and a premium fitness experience. It caters to a diverse clientele (not all of whom are runners) looking to improve their fitness, strength and well being in a supportive environment.
Job Overview
I am seeking a motivated and professional cycling instructor who is passionate about creating exceptional experiences for studio members. The ideal candidate will help clients achieve their fitness goals while fostering a fun and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
1. Plan and lead engaging cycling sessions that cater to all participants of different ages, fitness levels, and abilities.
2. Create a first-class customer experience, leading by example as a brand ambassador for Run Fit Fordingbridge
3. Build professional connections with studio members, providing individualized attention and support
4. Create a positive and inclusive environment that motivates and inspires class participants to reach their full potential.
5. Provide clear and concise instructions, demonstrating proper techniques and modifications when necessary, ensuring that all can participate safely and effectively.
6. Offer encouragement, guidance, and support throughout the class, ensuring a rewarding and enjoyable experience for all.
7. Maintain a high level of energy and enthusiasm, engaging participants and keeping them motivated throughout the session.
8. Monitor participants' form and technique, providing feedback and corrections as needed to prevent injuries and maximize results.
9. Ensure the studio is safe, immaculate, and all equipment is in good working order prior to class and afterwards including proper cleaning and storage of equipment. Reporting any issues identified to the studio owner in a timely way.
10. Should you be a key holder, ensure the premises is fully locked and secure after every class
11. Follow studio standard operational policies and procedures that support the studio's growth objectives and cater to our clientele.
12. Actively work to grow attendance for designated classes.
13. Handle client issues and concerns as they arise in a positive and timely manner, always maintaining professionalism
Soft Skills Required
1. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire participants across a wide age range.
2. Ability to create a positive and inclusive environment where participants of all ages and fitness levels feel welcome and encouraged.
3. High energy level and genuine enthusiasm for helping others achieve their goals

Qualifications & Experience Required
1. Must hold a recognised Cycling Instructor Qualification
2. Confident in supporting clients to set up their bikes before class
3. Strong knowledge of techniques and safety protocols
4. Experience working with clients of various ages and offering modifications and variations of exercises to suit different needs and abilities.
5. First aid certification
Desirable
1. Additional fitness certifications (e.g. Level 2 Fitness Instructor, Strength training, Purestretch, Personal Training)
2. Experience working in a private studio
3. Previous experience in boutique or small group training environments
4. Understanding of women's fitness needs across different life stages
Job Types: Part-time, Freelance
Pay: £24.00-£30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 – 3 per week
