FM Bid Writer
As Bid Writer, you’ll play a key part in developing compelling, high-quality bid submissions that clearly demonstrate our capability and value.
Working collaboratively with colleagues across the business, you’ll gather insights, shape engaging content, and help deliver winning proposals that are both creative and technically robust.
What you will be doing:
* Create high-quality, persuasive written responses for pre-qualification and tender submissions
* Coordinate and support the end-to-end bid submission process
* Collaborate with colleagues across multiple teams to gather technical and commercial information
* Support storyboarding sessions and help develop bid strategies and key themes
* Ensure submissions are tailored, accurate, and aligned with client requirements and deadlines
* Edit, proofread, and enhance content to ensure clarity, consistency, and impact
* Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders
* Analyse previous submissions to identify improvements and share learningSupport the creation of marketing materials, award submissions, and presentations
* Develop capability statements, expressions of interest, and other supporting documents
Capture and organise evidence to strengthen bid responses.
About you:
* Have experience in bid writing, ideally within construction, facilities management, or a related sector
* Have excellent written communication and storytelling skills
* Are highly organised and able to manage multiple deadlines
* Bring creativity and attention to detail to their work
* Enjoy questioning, improving, and finding innovative solutions
* Have a degree (or equivalent experience), ideally in a subject with a strong focus on writing
* Willing to travel within the UK when required
