About Us
We welcome applications from excellent practitioners who wish to further their skills and knowledge of SEND and, in particular, of working with children with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). Within our mainstream school we educate children with a broad range of special educational needs and disabilities, including communication and interaction needs, visual and hearing impairment, as well as children with diagnoses including Autism and Down Syndrome. Children who access ‘The Windmill’ benefit from our specialist small class with bespoke provision with a high adult-child ratio, as well as integrating with their mainstream classes. Specialist SEND teachers and class teachers work closely together to plan and deliver provision for each individual in relation to their EHCP.
We are at an exciting time in our journey of development with support children with complex needs and are looking for a innovative, dynamic, creative practitioner who is able to think on their feet, whilst ensuring that a focus on inclusion and belonging underpins all that they do.
