About the role
Vision for Education are recruiting for an Autism Support Assistant for a SEND primary school in Bristol. The role is full time (Monday to Friday) which will start from September 2024 or sooner if available and could result in a permanent contract from the setting.
The role will be working as an additional support in the classroom, working with students in small groups and 1:1 with students with Autism to support them with both life based skills, alongside a flexible curriculum in the core subjects (English and Maths).
About the school
The school is local provider for students aged 4-11 years old with generic learning needs. Each child has a care, health and education plan in place to support with their daily routine and activities planned at school which are differentiated to suit each child.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of Autism Support Assistant you will:
1. Someone looking to extend and expand their skillset.
2. Have a genuine desire to support children with Autism and learning disabilities.
3. Be available to work 8:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, term time only.
4. Be professional, reliable, personable and consistent.

Salary
£13 to £14 per hour
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
