About the Role
As a Site Supervisor you will ensure that site activities are carried out efficiently, safely, and in line with laid‑down procedures. You will work closely with subcontractors, clients, and the Contracts Manager to oversee progress and maintain high standards on site.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with the installation of building sections and ensure defects are rectified as necessary.
* Supervise and provide guidance to subcontractors and trades on site.
* Maintain the site and site accommodation in a clean, safe, and presentable condition.
* Conduct Health & Safety inductions and deliver toolbox talks as required.
* Produce weekly progress reports and attend monthly progress meetings if needed.
* Act as the site safety representative and competent person on site.
* Liaise with clients, providing advice and ensuring strong relationships.
* Ensure all work adheres to Health & Safety regulations, risk assessments, and method statements.
* Monitor and control site costs, ensuring plant and equipment are managed efficiently.
* Report progress, issues and variations to the Contracts Manager.
Essential Criteria
* SMSTS
* FAW
* CSCS Card – Black or Green
* Full and clean driving licence
* Prepared to work away from home as required
Desirable Criteria
* NVQ level 6
* IPAF
* PASMA
Additional Requirements
* Experience managing subcontract trades.
* Full knowledge of CDM Regulations.
* Computer literate.
* Good administrative and man‑management skills.
* Willing to travel and stay away from time to time.
