My client has gained a reputation for setting exceptional standards within the industry. With a strong client base, they undertake work on Grade I and II listed buildings and those which hold both architectural and historical significance. Their expertise and standing in this specialist sector has been recognised seeking to employ a Contracts Manager to oversee various projects in and around London.

Skills & Experience Requirements:
* Degree in Construction, Building Surveying or related discipline, with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience
* Strong interest in restoration, conservation and high-quality finishing
* Demonstrable experience in site and contract management
* Good contractual and commercial awareness
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Confident leadership and interpersonal skills
* Proven ability to deliver work to a high standard
Main Duties & Responsibilities
* Plan and oversee project delivery to ensure compliance with programme, budget and performance targets
* Coordinate and manage sub-contractors, suppliers, trades and specialist contractors
* Ensure all works meet standards, specification requirements and client expectations
* Prepare, monitor and update project programmes, reporting progress and risks to the Director
* Manage valuations, variations, interim accounts and final accounts
* Prepare monthly cost and progress reports for internal and client review
* Lead on-site Health & Safety performance including review, approval and monitoring of RAMS
* Source and procure standard and specialist materials, ensuring timely delivery and compatibility with requirements
* Liaise with clients, architects, engineers and consultants to support collaborative working
* Chair site meetings and issue minutes, actions and follow-ups as required
* Assist with tender preparation, site surveys, pricing and assessments
* Manage records, documentation and handover information to ensure full project close-out
