Associate – Energy Transition M&A | London
Our client is a specialist investment bank focused exclusively on the energy transition, advising on M&A, capital raises, and strategic transactions across renewables, energy storage, and clean infrastructure.
The role:
* Lead financial modelling, valuation, and execution across live M&A mandates
* Prepare client-facing materials including pitch books, IMs, and management presentations
* Conduct sector research and market analysis across renewables, storage, and clean energy assets
* Support senior bankers in client management and business development
* Coordinate due diligence workstreams and manage deal processes end to end
What we're looking for:
* Energy transition deal experience is essential — direct involvement in M&A, financing, or advisory transactions within renewables, clean infrastructure, or adjacent sectors
* 2–5 years of investment banking or corporate finance experience
* Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to produce polished client deliverables under pressure
* Genuine conviction in the energy transition and a desire to build a long-term career in the space
