At Turning Point, we support people with Learning Disabilities across England. As a Support Worker, you will make a real difference by helping residents improve their daily living skills. If you are passionate about people, you'll enjoy the support and opportunities for personal and professional growth, gaining experience and training to advance your career with us.
Where will I be working?
Our service is located in Sydenham, within walking distance to Leamington Spa. We support eight individuals with profound, multiple Learning Disabilities and additional health issues such as epilepsy and congenital conditions. Some have high support needs, mobility issues, and require personal care. As a support worker, you'll develop communication skills, including signing and visual aids, as some individuals are non-verbal. We aim to foster positive family relationships and a supportive community environment, with events during the summer months.
No experience is necessary; full training will be provided to all staff.
We use a digital social care record system to support daily documentation, making your tasks easier and allowing more time to support the people we serve.
