Summary
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Pastoral Co-ordinator, who will join our dynamic and committed pastoral team. The successful candidate will support the Year Leader in identifying and implementing strategies to support pupils with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties and strive to remove any barriers to learning that vulnerable pupils might face.
As a Pastoral Co-ordinator you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day support of pupils and their families, ensuring that pupils are maintaining the highest possible levels of attendance and achieving the best outcomes during their time at Ribblesdale. The successful candidate will be a pro-active and positive person, who is approachable and able to support and communicate well with families and outside agencies.
There is a very nurturing side to the role of Pastoral Co-ordinator, helping pupils with their emotional well-being. This requires a calm and resilient person who can adapt to the changing and sometimes challenging nature of pastoral care each day. Applicants should have excellent organisational and time management skills and must be able to work on their own initiative. This role is ideal for anyone who is passionate about improving standards in behaviour, attendance and the overall well-being of pupils through carefully considered intervention and positive relationships.
Please note that in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education 2024, an online search will be carried out as part of our due diligence on shortlisted candidates.
Please note CVs are not accepted, to apply for this vacancy you need to complete the application form attached.
