Overview
We are recruiting for a Part-Time Accounts Assistant to join a busy office with a manufacturing environment. This is a varied role that requires excellent Sage experience and the ability to work accurately and confidently across a range of accounting tasks.
Responsibilities
* Daily bookkeeping, including processing all incoming/outgoing bank transactions
* Processing Stripe (payment platform) transactions and reconciliations
* Bank and Stripe reconciliations
* Sales order entry & invoice processing
* Managing the accounts email inbox and prioritising responses
* Credit control duties
* Liaising with customers and suppliers via email and telephone
Requirements
* Proven experience using Sage (essential)
* Confident working in a manufacturing environment
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Working Pattern
* Part-time, approximately 3 days per week (flexible options available such as 5 mornings, 3 full days, etc)
* Office-based role
Additional Information
* Start date: Mid-October
* The company will be migrating from SAP to Sage in late October, So a degree of flexibility and adaptability will be required during this transition
