About Position and details:
* Role: DB2 DBA
* Mode: Hybrid(2 to 3 days to office)
* Experience: 6 to 15 years
* Job Type: Permanent role
Requirements:
* 7+ years of experience as a DB2 Database Administrator involved in Development, Enhancements and Production Support.
* Certified IBM DB2 DBA or equivalent experience.
* Hands-on experience in DBA activities like Data Maintenance, Authorization and privileges for DB2 access, Backup and Recovery.
* Operational 24x7 support, troubleshooting, monitoring, and maintenance experience.
* Result-oriented, customer-focused with good team relationships.
* 2 years of experience as DB2 DBA on Mainframes.
Skills:
Operating Systems: Windows XP, Linux, AIX, AWS EC2
Database: DB2 on open systems
Database Tools: db2top, db2advise, db2pd, db2dart, db2look, db2support, SPUFI, QMF, QREP, DB2 Admin tool, Log analyzer
Additional responsibilities include providing solutions to application teams, working with logical and physical partitioned databases, data refreshes, DB2 upgrades, disaster recovery activities, database restorations, backups, and supporting various tools and applications.
