Responsibilities Lead the commissioning process for BMS systems, ensuring seamless integration and functionality across varied building environments in London, Essex, Suffolk, and East Anglia. Review designs, specifications, and technical documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements and standards. Develop and execute commissioning plans, performance validation tests, and operational protocols. Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and project stakeholders across the region to achieve project deliverables within defined timelines. Program and configure BMS hardware and software, including controllers, sensors, and network systems. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues within BMS systems to achieve optimum performance. Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety protocols, and environmental regulations. Provide training and support to clients, end-users, and operations teams for the ongoing use and maintenance of BMS systems. Prepare detailed commissioning reports and documentation for handover to clients and stakeholders. Qualifications Demonstrated experience with BMS commissioning. Proficiency in BMS software and platforms, such as Trend, Tridium, Schneider Electric, Siemens, or other systems. Strong understanding of network systems, protocols (BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks), and automation controls. Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach. Strong communication skills, capable of working with diverse clients, contractors, and team members. Willingness to travel to client/project sites across London, Essex, Suffolk, and East Anglia as needed. Conducting on-site inspections and tests across sites in London, Essex, Suffolk, and wider East Anglia to verify equipment and system operations. Addressing system issues, fine-tuning programming, and ensuring adherence to energy performance targets. Liaising daily with clients to provide updates and solutions tailored to their operational needs. Documenting progress, commissioning results, and preparing client-facing reports.
