Key aspects of the Principal EC&I Engineer role include
1. Take technical ownership and lead delivery of EC&I hardware solutions including electrical control systems, control panels and associated safety systems for customers operating in highly regulated environments
2. Strong understanding of EC&I design principles including electrical schematics, control panel design, equipment selection and compliance
3. Oversee and mentor EC&I engineers, supporting problem-solving and driving best practice across the team
4. Experience of designing and developingSafety System Electrical Panelsin compliance withIEC 61508functional safety standards.
5. Successful Principal EC&I Engineer will conduct detailed reviews ofAutoCAD Electrical Drawingsto ensure technical correctness and quality.
