Job Description
3. Manage legal processes for the sale of small land parcels.
4. Handle variations of restrictive covenants and adverse possession claims.
5. Process requests for rights of way, wayleaves, and deeds of easement.
6. Review and respond to resident and private owner applications for property modifications.
7. Ensure accurate legal documentation and record keeping, including deeds of covenant and signing/sealing processes.
8. Oversee licensing for various land-related activities.
9. Carry out reviews of title, planning, estate documents and leases to provide reports and advice.
The Successful Applicant
10. To hold a valid Practising Certificate (or equivalent) to ensure you can carry out Reserved Work as defined by the Solicitors Regulation Authority, as well as be responsible for the supervision of members of the team who are not qualified to undertake Reserved Work
11. 1-2 years + PQE working within a law firm, in-house legal department, housing association or local authority and managing own legal caseload of similar cases
12. Strong understanding of Landlord and Tenant law and substantial experience of drafting residential leases
13. Excellent planning skills with the ability to priorities your work
14. Strong commercial awareness and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
15. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
16. Ability to develop strong working relationships within the Legal team, with internal clients and other third-party stakeholders
17. Ability to exercise good judgment and discretion

18. A competitive salary range of £45,000 - £58,000 FTE
19. Part time working available of 4 days per week
