Salary: £44,752 per annum plus a shift allowance of £87.58 per week for the 13:30 – 22:00 shift. Additional weekend supplement on Saturday (£52.10 per shift) is applicable. 22.5 days annual holiday (plus bank holidays), rising with service, with the option to purchase more. Working hours: Full time – 39.5 hours per week. Rotating shift pattern: week 1: 06:00–14:30, week 2: 07:00–15:00, week 3: 13:30–22:00. You will be required to work 1 in 3 Saturdays (with a weekday day off).

Key Responsibilities
* Lead operations across a shift in line with production planning and control requirements.
* Deliver weekly team meetings, shift huddles and participate in remedial approach to conduct issues while ensuring technician wellbeing after sick absences.
* Perform a full range of inspections, diagnostics, maintenance and repair procedures on a range of vehicles, trailers and mechanical equipment, when required.
* Use your personal toolkit to undertake routine maintenance and repair of light and heavy goods vehicles. Also have access to specialist tooling and shared equipment in the modern, fully equipped workshop.
* Perform effective stock control processes, ensuring accurate and timely completion of work orders and associated vehicle documentation to meet business and legal requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Experienced leader – managed a team of vehicle technicians, excellent knowledge of health and safety and ability to communicate technical issues to the team.
* Qualified mechanic – fully qualified to an advanced level (IMI Level 3 in Light or Heavy vehicle or equivalent). Own toolkit for standard repairs.
* Varied vehicle experience – proven experience working on a wide range of vehicles (e.g., LCV/HGV).
* Valid UK driving licence – full manual licence, preferably an HGV with trailer experience.
* High working standards – take pride in work and ensure tasks are completed effectively.
* Flexible to service demands – willing to work flexible shift rota and support team when necessary.
