Interim Purchase Ledger / Accounts Payable Clerk

We are seeking an experienced interim Purchase Ledger Clerk or AP Clerk with FMCG or Manufacturing sector experience, for a 3-4 month assignment in Telford, Shropshire.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process a high volume of supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy.
* Reconcile supplier statements and resolve queries efficiently.
* Maintain the purchase ledger, supporting month end processes.
* Ensure compliance with internal policies and payment schedules.
* Collaborate closely with colleagues across finance and operations.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Proven experience in purchase ledger/accounts payable.
* Experience within FMCG or manufacturing sector.
* Confident with EDI systems and automatic invoice scanning.
* Experience with Xero accounting software.
* Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
* Able to work in a fast paced, team environment.
* Immediate availability to commit to an interim assignment.
* Able to work on site in Telford 5 days per week.
