The successful candidate will assist with a variety of legal tasks, ensuring smooth case management and effective communication within the department. Responsibilities * Conduct legal research and compile relevant information to support case preparation * Draft and review legal documents, correspondence, and reports using Microsoft Word and other Office applications * Organise and maintain case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date * Assist with scheduling meetings, court dates, and appointments using Microsoft Outlook * Manage electronic and paper filing systems efficiently to ensure easy retrieval of information * Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and external agencies via written correspondence or phone calls * Support the team in preparing presentations or summaries for court proceedings or client meetings * Ensure compliance with organisational policies and legal standards through meticulous record keeping Requirements * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal * Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages * Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively * Good time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment * Previous experience as a paralegal or in a similar legal support role is advantageous but not essential * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team with professionalism and discretion
