Your new company Hays are working in partnership with a leading global, multidisciplined engineering and construction company to recruit a Graduate Mechanical Engineer. This contractor provides a wide range of construction services across infrastructure sectors, including rail, water, power, and natural resources. Your new role Assist in the design and installation of mechanical systems Support the preparation of specifications and procurement of components Contribute to technical reports and risk assessments Use specialist software for design and simulation Participate in site visits and liaise with project teams Technical Exposure Pumping systems, valves, pipework, and supports Access platforms, bridges, and mechanical structures Installation techniques using lifting equipment Mechanical design calculations and documentation What you'll need to succeed Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or nearing completion) Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD/Revit is a plus Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Full Driving Licence What you'll get in return This is an exciting opportunity for a recent Mechanical Engineering graduate to launch their career in a dynamic and supportive environment.
