Accommodation Support & Wellbeing Officer (x 2)

About the role
* Facilitate access to emergency temporary accommodation for households presenting as homeless to the Council.
* Provide support and assistance to improve health and wellbeing while accommodated.
* Give practical advice and support to help households secure permanent housing.
* Assist households in emergency accommodation to maintain the accommodation and move to more permanent accommodation.
About the candidate
* Knowledge of homeless legislation (Part VII of the Housing Act 1996/2002 and the Homeless Reduction Act 2018).
* Experience working in a supported housing or health‑related organisation.
* Experience creating, monitoring and progressing support plans.
* Ability to work with applicants in a sensitive manner, accurately record statements and findings, and signpost to other agencies.
* Experience with the LOCATA HPA2 system is desirable; training will be provided.

* Post is subject to an Enhanced DBS check, including a check of the relevant Barred List(s).
