A IS FOR ARCHITECTURE is an international practice working on a variety of residential, commercial and cultural projects in the UK and Europe, from large masterplans to small beachside kiosks.
Our designs are driven by in-depth research, investigating the context and meaning of sites, client aspirations, community needs, and the ideas and motifs that bring each project to life.
Requirements for the position are:
* Professional degree in architecture
* 5+ years post-qualification experience
* Experience in project planning, detailing and execution on large-scale mixed-use projects in the UK.
* Experience in all stages of design and construction.
* Experience in communication with clients, consultants, executive architects and contractors.
* Experience in the development of drawing packages, samples/materials, mock-ups.
* Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, and scheduling
* Fluent in spoken and written English.
* Appreciate working in a creative and collaborative environment where hierarchy is seen as a necessity rather than a goal.
* Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
The role
* Leading a small project or part of a large project.
* Liaising directly with local authorities, consultants, and clients
* Organise and lead design and technical workshops.
* Preparing reports and drawing packages.
* Support and mentor recently qualified architects and architectural assistants.
* Having an active participation in the day-to-day running of the practice, including exploring new work opportunities.
Salary will be commensurate with experience. The role is full-time and studio-based with a start date in February/March 2026.
