Senior Data Analyst - Insurance

We are partnering with an impressive global Insurance consultancy seeking a Senior Data Analyst with Insurance experience, to drive the design and development of scalable data solutions. You will play a pivotal part in interpreting and analysing complex datasets, designing efficient data models, and delivering insights that shape key business decisions. Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you’ll also be responsible for defining process improvements, ensuring data quality, and contributing to impactful projects. Key Responsibilities:
* Collect, analyse, and interpret complex data sets, identifying trends and actionable insights
* Develop and implement data models, databases, and analytics solutions
* Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI/Tableau
* Work with SQL, Python, and distributed computing tools (Hadoop, Spark, etc.)
* Support data governance and optimisation initiatives
* Collaborate with leadership teams to prioritise and deliver data-driven solutions
What we’re looking for:
* 5+ years’ experience as a Data Analyst or Snr Data Analyst, some of which must be gained in Insurance
* Experience gained within London Market
* Any reinsurance or Finance Data experience is ideal (please outline on your CV)
* Strong expertise in SQL, Python, Power BI/Tableau, and data warehousing
* Proven experience with large datasets and advanced statistical techniques
* Familiarity with Azure and Microsoft Fabric (desirable)
* Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Agile/Scrum,
* Must live within an easy commute of central London for 3 hybrid days
