Lavender Window Cleaning is a newly launched specialist department of Lavender Housekeeping Ltd, offering professional rope access and window cleaning services across the UK. The Role
We are looking for an experienced window cleaner to join our rope access window cleaning projects on a freelance basis. You will be responsible for supervising a small rope access team, ensuring safety standards, and delivering high-quality cleaning services for our clients.
Responsibilities
* rope access window cleaning operations (IRATA Level 1, 2 or 3 required).
* Lead and oversee rope access teams on site.
* Carry out water-fed pole cleaning (as required on certain jobs).
* Conduct risk assessments, method statements, and rescue planning.
* Ensure compliance with IRATA and health & safety regulations.
* Liaise with management and clients on project progress.
* Travel nationwide to projects (willingness to work away in other cities for a few days at a time is essential).
Requirements
* IRATA Level 1, 2 or 3 certification (valid).
* Minimum 3 years' experience in rope access window cleaning.
* Proven experience with water-fed pole cleaning.
* Strong knowledge of health & safety compliance.
* Ability to supervise Level 1 and Level 2 rope access technicians.
* Full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential).
* Flexibility to travel across the UK for short project stays.
