Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong understanding of food safety and bartending practices. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating an inviting atmosphere, serving beverages, and ensuring customer satisfaction in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible serving practices.
* Engage with customers, providing excellent service and assistance with drink selections.
* Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
* Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during peak hours.
* Assist in training new staff members on bar procedures and best practices.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Bartender in a restaurant or similar setting is preferred.
* Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
* Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
* Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and drink measurements.
* A friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills to engage with customers effectively.
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of service.
