As a Controllership Accountant - Property, you will combine your technical accounting knowledge with communication and prioritisation skills to ensure a strong control environment and accurate reporting of the Property P&L and Fixed Asset / Lease accounting. Responsibilities include:
* Accounting for key lease and capital areas, managing a £10bn asset register, and providing accounting advisory to internal customers.
* Monthly and annual reporting and forecasting of key asset and property-related lines.
* Business partnering with multiple teams across finance and beyond.
* Managing key control processes in the Controllership - Property team, such as month-end and quarter-end processes, reconciliation review, reporting, and control framework review and execution.
* Driving process improvements and efficiencies through digital tools and automation.
* Opportunity to be involved in significant property transactions.
* Line management and coaching of junior colleagues.

You should be a Qualified Accountant with post-qualification experience (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA), capable of managing and prioritising workloads with strong attention to detail. Additional requirements include:
* Ability to work independently, manage, and prioritise tasks effectively.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in Excel; experience with SAP and digital analytics tools is desirable.
* Confidence in liaising with stakeholders at all levels.
* Ability to think laterally and challenge the status quo to improve processes.
* Experience coaching junior colleagues.
