Overview

JoJo stores are unique and built around the relationships we form with our customers, many of whom are loyal to our brand and local store team. You’ll be the face of JoJo, providing a fantastic level of customer care and service, guiding, informing, and assisting customers in the purchase of our clothing and products.

Our B Corp principles are important, and every team member upholds them. As we move into a digital retail world, Omni-Channel customer service is expected to build customer loyalty.


What you’ll do

* Assist customers in diverse situations, from bra fitting and maternity wear discussions to demonstrating baby carriers to interested parents.
* Prepare Omni-Channel orders and liaise with customers in store or by phone regarding those orders.
* Use our digital or virtual learning platforms to continuously develop knowledge and retail skills.
* Embrace new product knowledge to maximize sales opportunities.
* Listen actively to customer needs and determine the best solution.
* Maintain store appearance and keep it immaculate.
* Work 1 x 7.5 hour shift per typical week, with flexibility to meet store requirements.


Skills and qualifications

* Previous retail, customer service and sales experience.
* Competent IT skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
* Ability to learn and retain high levels of product information and communicate it effectively.
* Self-developing mentality and curiosity to learn new products independently.
* No high-pressure sales techniques; demonstrate active listening, empathy, and understanding of customer needs.
* Ability to work harmoniously and respectfully within a small team.
* Flexibility to work in a retail environment with stores open 7 days a week.
* Keen eye for detail to help maintain store standards.
