The Staveley Centre is a welcoming Community Care Centre, set in Inkersall, Chesterfield. Our mission is to provide compassionate care and support older people, enabling them to live independently within a vibrant and supportive community.
The Role
We are seeking caring, dedicated individuals to join our team as Care Workers. You will play a vital role in supporting residents with their daily lives, promoting independence, and ensuring their well-being in a safe and friendly environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality, person-centred care to residents, tailored to their individual needs.
* Support residents to participate in social activities and maintain their independence.
* Maintain accurate and timely care records.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure the highest standards of care are upheld.
* Assist residents with everyday tasks such as washing and dressing, eating meals, taking medication and socialising to help them stay happy, healthy and well.
* Understand the needs of older people, including those with dementia.
About You
* Experience in a care role is an advantage but not essential—full training will be provided.
* A kind, compassionate approach with a passion for supporting older people.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* A commitment to promoting independence and dignity in care.
* Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.
