THE ROLE
We are currently recruiting for Feeding Operatives, who, based at Westray Shorebase, Orkney will monitor and feed our fish remotely.
You will complete a wide range of varied duties, which will include setting up feeding plans ensuring that these are accurate depending on the size of the fish, general maintenance of the feeding equipment and carrying out environmental and health & safety checks to the highest standard possible.
The successful candidates will have a positive and enthusiastic attitude whilst working alongside a well-established, dedicated team. In a fast-paced environment you will provide safe and caring conditions for our Salmon.
THE REQUIREMENTS
1. Self-motivated, willing, eager and enthusiastic
2. Able to adapt and assist with other duties where necessary
3. Be a good team player but have the ability to work independently when required
4. Be efficient and have the ability to think on ones' own feet
5. Have the ability to drive projects forward
6. Inter-personal and excellent communication skills.
