The Group is currently ranked second in the world for nuclear engineering.\n\nTo ensure a viable, efficient, and reliable energy future for all\n\nJob Description\n\nAssystem Energy & Infrastructure are recruiting for a dynamic, self-motivated Assistant Buyer to work at our customers site in Derby on a Full time contract basis.\n\nRole details: \n\nJob title: Assistant Buyer\nContract length: 12 months \nLocation: Derby \nContract type: PAYE via Umbrella solutionKey responsibilities include but are not limited to:\n\nCreate request for quotations in accordance with business requirements\nEnsure compliant documentation is in line with agreed process\nSupport daily operations calls as required\nGenerate and distribute procurement reports\nAssist with supplier onboarding process and manage supplier records/documentation\nAct as a procurement point of contact for the Commodity team\nResolve supplier payment issues, escalating as necessary\nArranging transport for material supply\nManaging Requisition and Order Stops process for the team\nGeneral procurement administration and support as needed\n\nQualifications\n\nPrevious experience in an administrative or procurement support role\nStrong communication skills and a desire to help others\nProactive attitude with the ability to build relationships internally and externally\nExcellent time management and ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines\nHigh level of accuracy and attention to detail\nStrong organisational skills\nComfortable using Excel, Outlook, Teams and other standard applications\n\nAdditional Information\n\n **Security clearance**\n\nThis role requires the successful candidate to hold a minimum of a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance.\n\nDue to the nature of work this role will be delivering and for the protection of certain assets, the successful candidate has to be a UK national or in MoD approved cases a Dual National from a non-ITAR country.\n\nWe are committed to equal treatment of candidates and promote, as well as foster all forms of diversity within our company.
