An excellent opportunity has arisen for a talented Criminal Litigation Solicitor (12 years PQE) to join a leading niche Litigation Law firm within the Criminal Team. This law firm is renowned for its exceptional Dispute Resolution and Criminal Defence practice.About the Firm:Our client is a highly regarded, Legal 500-recognised firm with an established reputation across criminal and Civil litigation. The wider Dispute Resolution Department, offers a full range of services including commercial disputes, Criminal Fraud, Regulatory and Sanctions.Criminal Litigation Solicitor Position Overview:You will manage a varied caseload of criminal matters, providing high-quality legal advice and representation to clients at police stations, Magistrates, and Crown Courts. This is an exciting opportunity to work on both sensitive and complex cases within a supportive, high-performing team.Key Responsibilities of the Criminal Litigation Solicitor:
* Represent clients at police stations, Magistrates and Crown Courts
* Prepare and manage criminal defence cases from instruction through to trial
* Advise clients on a broad range of criminal law matters, including serious crime
* Liaise with counsel, experts, and witnesses throughout the case lifecycle
* Manage your own caseload with appropriate supervision and autonomy
* Contribute to business development and departmental growth
* Maintain outstanding client care and uphold firm standards
Requirements of the Crime Litigation Solicitor:
* Qualified Solicitor with at least 1-2 years PQE in criminal defence or litigation
* Strong advocacy and negotiation skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Client-focused, professional, and proactive approach
* High level of integrity and discretion
