About the Role
We are looking for a Workshop Support Technician to join our Engineering team. In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting our workshop operations—ensuring equipment is cleaned, dismantled, prepared, and finished to the highest standard. You'll be hands-on with machinery, carry out basic maintenance, assist colleagues, and help us deliver excellent service to our customers.
What You'll Be Doing
* Cleaning, dismantling, and preparing customer machines for repair and dispatch
* Supporting colleagues with assembly and workshop tasks
* Performing basic maintenance on tools, machinery, and equipment
* Carrying out quality control checks to ensure customer specifications are met
* Applying protective coatings, spray painting, and finishing machines to customer requirements
* Operating ovens, handling wound components, and moving/positioning machinery safely
* Reporting and identifying quality issues and suggesting improvements
* Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping and safety in the workshop
