We are recruiting Ad Hoc Teaching Assistants to support a specialist SEMH school and alternative provision in Blandford Forum. The setting supports pupils aged 5–16 with EHCPs and social, emotional and mental health needs. This role is ideal for: Individuals seeking flexible or part-time work Those gaining experience before teacher training, psychology, or social care Experienced support staff looking for supply opportunities Responsibilities: Supporting pupils in lessons and structured activities Assisting with emotional regulation and behaviour support Working collaboratively with teaching staff You’ll need: A calm and supportive approach Strong communication skills A genuine interest in SEMH and SEN No two days are the same — but every day is meaningful.
