About the Role
Are you looking for a support and care role where no two days are the same and the work you do truly matters?
The Wilf Ward Family Trust is seeking kind, compassionate Support Workers to join our passionate teams across Goole, Howden and Market Weighton. You’ll be providing person-centred care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and other complex needs — helping them live their best lives.
No experience needed. We provide full training and ongoing support. What we can’t teach are values like empathy, kindness, and a genuine desire to care for others — those need to come from you.
What Will Your Day Look Like?
This is a varied and rewarding support and care role. Some days are calm and structured; others are busy and fast-paced — that’s what makes it interesting and satisfying.
You’ll be supporting individuals with:

Socialising and accessing community activities

Developing hobbies and interests
*
Daily living and personal care
*
Household tasks and practical support
*
Life skills such as shopping and money management
*
Following and delivering individual support plans
