Are you a skilled *Mechanical Fitter/Welder* with a background in fabrication and mechanical fitting? We’re looking for a hands-on professional to help build and assemble high-performance *blower systems*. Training is provided for the right candidate.
*Job Purpose*
To carry out the *fitting, fabrication, welding, and assembly of blower systems and components*, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Your role ensures the delivery of safe, high-quality, and dependable units.
*Daily Duties*
*Blower Assembly & Installation*
* Fit blower units to various chassis and vehicles
* Align and secure mechanical parts, pipework, and support structures
*Fabrication & Welding*
* MIG weld brackets, air trunking, and assemblies
* Operate workshop tools: cutting, bending, drilling, grinding
* Read and interpret engineering drawings
*Hydraulics & Pneumatics*
* Install and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic lines
* Fit motors, valves, and cylinders as required
*General Workshop Duties*
* Keep work areas clean and safe
* Ensure tools/equipment are maintained and functional
* Follow all health & safety procedures
*Preferred Skills & Experience* _(Training Provided)_
* Experience with blower units, compressors, or pump systems
* MIG welding and fabrication
* Basic knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
* Ability to read technical drawings
