About The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
* undertake all clinical work in the Imaging Department, demonstrating specialised knowledge and expertise and supporting the Imaging Lead
* deliver a high-quality diagnostic imaging service
* participate in the vetting and prioritising of all Imaging examinations according to departmental guidelines and in the optimisation and development of protocols
* produce high-quality images to assist in diagnosis and treatment, while maintaining high standards of care
* train and supervise junior staff and assistant staff in the delivery of the service and their development needs in a motivational manner
The successful candidate will be expected to work on a shift basis, 25 hours per week over a 7-day rota during hospital operating hours. The rota is not fixed and is subject to change to meet operational needs; weekend and bank holiday work will be required in accordance with the rota.
About You
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
* Diploma of the College of Radiographers / BSc Radiography or equivalent with current/valid HCPC registration
* Post-qualification experience ideally within a private healthcare setting
* Evidence of CPD
* Excellent understanding of the role of a Senior Cross Sectional Radiographer and Imaging service
* Good interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
