The Guinness Partnership is one of the leading providers of social housing in England. We build and manage homes and provide housing services to around 140,000 customers nationwide. Of our 70,000 homes, more than 70% are let at a social or affordable rent, while around 10,000 are owned or part-owned by the people who live in them.
Our vision is to deliver great service, provide great homes, to be a great business and to be a great place to work. Because everything we do is about our customers, our communities and our people, any profit we make is re-invested in new and existing homes and improving services.
About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Portfolio Manager to join the Guinness Team. This is a permanent, full-time vacancy based in our Oldham, Bower House office. We are currently working to a hybrid working style.
In this important role you’ll plan and effectively manage the sequencing of the Technology Plan, proactively managing the pipeline of work and planned starts and completions. The remit of this role covers direct responsibility of our IT Work Plan, PMO Services and a small Product Management capability for CRM and Power Platform.
Our Digital, Data & Technology Strategy (which underpins our overall strategy) outlines how we’re using digital tools to enable high quality service delivery, managing our assets better, serving residents more efficiently, and making informed and evidenced decisions to put our residents at the heart of everything we do.
Over the last few years, we have migrated our CRM system to Microsoft Dynamics 365 and our Finance and HR systems to Oracle Cloud. Our Plans are ambitious. We will continue to introduce new functionality to improve the services we provide to our colleagues and customers, in parallel to delivering our Roadmaps for Asset Management, Repairs, Customer, Digital and Data.
You’ll be a part of a dynamic team who truly value each other’s contributions and innovative ways of thinking. We are brought together by our determination to provide solutions that really improve the way our business operates – knowing that what we do ensures we can continue to best serve our customers and achieve our social purpose.
This is a great time to work for Guinness and our Business Change team. Our plans are ambitious and, as a result, the team is ever developing and growing. As an organisation we are committed to investing in our people and in technology that will continue to support our strategic aims and enable continued business improvement through the implementation of our Digital and Data Strategy.
What we’re looking for
We know that how we do things is just as important as what we do, so you’ll not only be highly self-motivated with the rigour to pursue goals, but you’ll also be a confident collaborator, networker and relationship builder with a willingness to go the extra mile to get the job done.
You’ll be able to demonstrate:
