Property Litigation Solicitor, Liverpool
Contract: 12 months Fixed Term Contract
Location: Liverpool, United Kingdom
Work Arrangement: 3 days WFH, subject to company policy
Reporting to: Director of Legal and Head of Litigation
Job Purpose: Provide legal support within the litigation team of a leading Asset Manager, focusing on dispute resolution, litigation, and risk minimization. Knowledge of the Building Safety Act 2022 is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Liaise with senior management and external parties, handling property litigation cases from pre-litigation to trial.
2. Assist with building safety and property litigation matters.
3. Coordinate with external solicitors and Counsel, monitoring costs.
4. Advise internal teams on property legislation and compliance.
5. Maintain case files, records, and legal activity reports.
6. Manage deadlines and safeguard company interests.
7. Draft, review, and advise on legal documents and policies.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Qualified Solicitor or Barrister in England & Wales with current Practising Certificate.
* Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience.
* Experience with Building Safety Act 2022 and residential leasehold properties.
* Strong attention to detail, integrity, and reliability.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Excellent drafting, communication, and advocacy skills.
* Experience in conveyancing, property transactions, and GDPR.
