Locati on: Mansfield, UKPosition Ty pe: Full-Time, Perman entShift Patte rn: Mornings: 6:00 – 14:00, Afternoons: 14:00 – 22:00 with a 19.15 finish on a Friday by local agreem ent Roles and Responsibil ities A flexographic Printer job requires you to manage flexographic printing machines such as an 10 colour narrow web servo-driven flexographic press press. You usually prepare the press for printing and troubleshoot any issues during pri nting. Monitor printing processes of presses to maintain specified operating levels and to detect malfunctions, adjusting as necessary. Maintain inks and solvents according to types of material being printed and work order specific ations. Roles and Responsi bilities To ensure all printing tasks are carried out to high standards and that the standards are ma intained.To operate and maintain production speeds on your shift and setting times to targets and record / report in areas where this is not possible.To work constantly towards production improvements in methods, to eliminate potential quality problems and reduce downtime.To liaise with the production manager to achieve best possible machine utilisation with minimum wastage, while ensuring excellent quality, at best possible delive ry dates.Work as part of a team supporting colleagues and sharing inf ormation.To follow all aspects of Quality Control and Quality Assurance in the Print Department and ensure accurate records are ma intained.To ensure your teamwork and maintain safe working systems to ensure personnel are kept free from injury and operations are safe and e fficient.Ensure collaborative working within the Print Department via good commu nication. Required Skills & Experience: Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer ser vice skills.Ability to operate or to quickly learn to operate various printing machines and relat ed software.Ability to follow i nstructions.Excellent organizational skills and attentio n to detail.Experience in Flexograp hic PrintingExperience meeting SEDEX and ETI Requirements (no t essential)Experience working within a team with a good standard of c ommunicationExperienced Flexogra phic Printer
