as a SAP Process Analyst
The Process Specialist is key to optimising our bill-to-cash journey, ensuring processes are efficient, customer-focused, and aligned with our strategic goals.
Based within the Platform Capability team, this role demands independent problem-solving, strong analytical skills, and collaborative engagement across Retail functions.
You will help deliver the change roadmap within the Billing Product team, leading initiatives that drive essential improvements across the Retail Business. Working closely with Customer Services, Income, and Collections, you’ll champion process excellence and proactive enhancements.
The role also involves managing risk and control mechanisms to identify potential exposures in customer and financial processes. Success requires deep process knowledge, strong analytical ability, and clear, effective communication.
Key responsibilities: 
Business Analysis & Change Delivery
 1. Act as a business analyst within the Income Billing Product Team to drive meaningful change
 2. Deliver improvements to BAU processes, making it easier to do the right thing.
 3. Identify inefficiencies and implement solutions to streamline routine business processes.
 4. Coordinate multiple change initiatives, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
 5. Collaborate with digital teams to deliver best-in-class system changes.
 6. Facilitate discussions, gather requirements, and build consensus among diverse stakeholders.
 7. Provide post-change support and reporting to demonstrate impact and effectiveness.
Process Understanding & Improvement
 8. Examine end-to-end processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
 9. Analyse large data sets to uncover patterns that inform targeted process enhancements.
 10. Collaborate with stakeholders to manage changes without negatively impacting upstream or downstream processes.
 11. Maintain a holistic perspective to ensure processes work together efficiently.
Controls & Analysis
 12. Conduct in-depth analysis using data from Data teams, ISU, or C4C.
 13. Contribute to structured root cause problem-solving sessions and promote creative thinking within the team.
 14. Influence change decisions through robust documentation and evidence-based insights.
Business Documentation
 15. Support timely updates to all process materials, including training reviews, new content, and MyGuide resources.
Collaboration & Communication
 16. Work closely with team members and peers across departments, providing insights and reports to senior stakeholders.
 17. Present problems and solutions clearly and effectively at all levels of the organisation.
What you should bring to the role:
To thrive in this role, the essential criteria you’ll need are:
 18. Proficient in Microsoft 365 tools, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
 19. Strong understanding of end-to-end metering, billing, and finance processes.
 20. Deep expertise in SAP Utilities.
 21. Skilled in stakeholder management, with the confidence to challenge and influence effectively
 22. Solid understanding of systems architecture.
 23. Experienced in agile ways of working.
 24. Proficient in using Macros, LSMW, or other scripting tools.
 25. Proven track record of leading complex projects or programmes.
 26. Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
 27. Strong attention to detail with exceptional organisational and prioritisation abilities.
 28. Personable and collaborative, with strong relationship-building skills across the business.
 29. Capable of analysing and interpreting large, complex data sets.
Location: Hybrid - Walnut Court - SN2 8BN.
Hours: 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
