Job Opportunity: Deputy Manager, Children's Homes - Full Time, Fixed Term (one year)
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children who need it most? Bristol City Council's Children Residential Service is offering a unique opportunity to join our team in providing therapeutic care experiences for children with complex needs.
About Us:
At Bristol City Council, we've redefined our approach to children's residential care. We've transitioned to smaller homes, with a focus on providing personalised care for 2 to 4 children at a time. This enables us to better match placements and offer a homely environment where children feel safe, loved, and nurtured. Our trauma-informed approach ensures that we understand and cater to the individual needs of each child, empowering them to thrive.

As part of the management team, you will deliver high quality managerial support and mentoring and supervision to staff, enabling them to maintain a high professional standard in their work. You will contribute to the day to day running of the home and can expect that the registered manager and senior managers will provide you with further assistance, to support you to accomplish this role.
