About the Role
This full‑time post is available immediately on a permanent basis. The starting salary ranges from £50,253 to £58,225 on Grade G, depending on knowledge, skills and experience.
This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home.
The post holder will lead a team of Information Governance professionals to ensure that regulatory functions such as FOI, DPIA and subject access requests are fulfilled to legal requirements, and drive the development of a mature and continuously improving culture for how the university manages data. The team works across all areas of the University to meet regulatory requirements and promote Information Governance best practice.

We are seeking a motivated individual with excellent knowledge and wealth of leadership experience to support the University to achieve compliance in this important area.
Qualifications
* Proven leadership experience managing a team of Information Governance professionals
* Strong knowledge of data protection regulations, including FOI, DPIA, and subject access requests
* Experience facilitating continuous improvement of information governance processes
* Ability to work across the university and influence stakeholders at all levels
