In this role, you'll lead health and safety initiatives across the manufacturing site, ensuring compliance with UK standards and embedding a culture of safety and continuous improvement. This is a key leadership position where you'll influence change, drive best practice, and empower teams to work smarter and safer.
The Role:
* Develop and implement H&S policies in line with UK regulations.
* Conduct risk assessments, audits, and collaborate with external agencies.
* Lead emergency response planning and training.
* Promote a proactive safety culture through engagement and campaigns.
* Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement preventative measures.
* Manage H&S budgets and training resources.
The Person:
* Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field
* H&S management experience in food, pharma, or chemical manufacturing.
