Overview
Sales Engineer role with emphasis on seals, pumps, valves, hydraulic and pneumatic components. Fully autonomous, home-based position covering the North East region. Flexible on industry background, with ideal exposure to seals, pumps, valves, hydraulic and pneumatic components and selling into oil & gas, industrial and process industries. The role focuses on new business, growing key accounts, developing customer relationships and providing excellent service.
Responsibilities
* Sell into oil & gas, industrial and process industries (food, pharma, water, etc.).
* Develop new business and grow key accounts; build and maintain strong customer relationships.
* Provide excellent service and support to customers throughout the sales cycle.
* Operate in a fully autonomous, home-based role covering the North East region.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Experience selling into oil & gas, industrial and process industries (food, pharma, water, etc.).
* Exposure to seals, pumps, valves, hydraulic or pneumatic components, or similar technical solutions preferred.
* Flexible on industry background; ideal if there is overlap with seals, pumps, valves or related components.
* Previous roles: Sales Engineer, Regional Sales Manager or Business Development Manager seeking roles in the North East region.
* Home-based, autonomous role covering the North East region (Durham, Newcastle, Middlesbrough, Darlington, Tyneside, Sunderland, York, Harrogate).
Compensation
Salary TBC, likely £50,000 - £55,000 + car + bonus (note: this is subject to change).
Location
North East region with work-from-home/remote working; flexible on base location within the North East.
